Overview & Scrutiny Committee Minutes - Following protests by councillors about the Cabinet decision of 25th July, this meeting was convened to question the Cabinet decison.

Leader of the council Ian Barker and Cllr Alex Stone were allowed to speak at great length in support of the Centros plan. In contrast, Cllr Jon Barry, the only cabinet member who had voted against signing the financial planning delivery agreement with Centros Miller, was barred from questioning Cllrs Barker and Stone by committee chairman Cllr Stuart Langhorn, and only permitted make a very brief statement.
