Council Planning Information
You can find detailed information about planning applications on Lancaster City Council's website. In the Application Reference box on the Application Search page, type in the full application reference number such as 08/00866/OUT then click the search button at the bottom. The new page will show a short summary of the application and various clickable tabs and links through which you can find detailed documentation on the application.
You can also keep tabs on what is happening at planning committee meetings.
Centros Planning Applications
The great majority of the planning applications from 2007 remained unchanged as mentioned on page 3 of the covering letter for the new main outline planning application. The new planning applications for 2008 and the original ones from 2007 are listed below.
Summary of the new updated planning applications
08/00866/OUT replaces the previous application 07/00672/OUT and is the masterplan for the whole canal coridoor north site. 0700602/OUT is a slightly revised version of the same application from 2007 with the main change being a reduction in the height of a new building next to the Golden Lion. 08/00864/OUT is a new application for a large residential and parking complex which fills the space between Leonardgate and Alfred St. 08/00865/OUT seems to have replaced 07/00589/OUT with the main change being the removal of leisure facilities.
